Smooth

This is a very nice tune. It builds up quite well in the beginning, and as far as I can hear the piano part sounds just fine. Overall the mix quality is very nice as well. I'm really digging this.
Keep it up.

combatplayer responds:

thanks man ^^

Nice

Nice tune man. The guitar sounds cool, and the vocals are very original sounding. One thing I found was the the vocals seemed a little too loud compared to the guitar, or maybe the guitar was just too quiet, but it was great other than that. Sounding awesome, keep up ze good work.

C-MO responds:

this is true, i didn't exactly go into a lot for balance, will be more conscientious of it next time.

Exceptional

Wow, I very much enjoyed this song.
I liked how it was constantly evolving and changing. Not only did the song move along to something new a lot, but it kept taking me with it. I could feel the changes of the song first-hand, if that makes any sense. Part of me wants to say that this song reminds me of Megaman, but that doesn't seem quite right. It's got some sort of side-scrolling action game feel to it though, for sure. It's also got something else of it's own in it too, as it has a very unique sound to me.

Bravo on an exceptionally well-composed and mixed track. I applaud you.

Foxtacy responds:

I have no words to express my gratitude =)

Very nice

You checked out my stuff a looong time ago, so it's about time I returned the favor. And good thing to, because I stumbled upon this. I like the sound of the beat, very crisp and clean. And the lead synth sounds awesome. I've never played Iridion, so I don't know how the original sounds, but this is still a nice remix regardless. Theres not a lot going on at times, but it's a video game song so it works in a way. I like the bassline near the end of the song, it's nice to have a bit of variation in the bass. Overall this is a pretty solid remix with some nice things going on. Hopefully you keep at this, because you've got potential.

CyrusOfNaias responds:

:D I've got some ideas comin' around. Thank you so much for your contribution! I need all the support I can get.

Oh and don't worry, I'll be sure to check your stuff again too ^_^

Very nice.

You lose points for originality for obvious reasons, but this was still put together quite well. I love the crisp sound of the drum track. Although most of it was taken from the Punk-o-Matic, I can hear some nice harmonies that you wrote yourself, which is a nice addition.

Very nice, very clean sounding. Good work.

jarrydn responds:

It was all taken from PoM apart from some of the drum ideas and the two part guitar harmony (which was just extrapolated from one of the solos).

Thanks for the positive review :)

Wow.

Where to begin. This has an extremely professional sound to it. Excellent quality. Excellent choice of sounds. Plenty of variation to keep of from being boring. Good job, I love it. And theres something about the generic techno beat with the Hi Hat on the offbeat that I always love.

All-in-all, great work. Keep it up!

black-diamond responds:

yeah thanks, the hi hat part was just to practice a bit on DnB, but this time it worked (got some songs where i also did it, but that was pure C.R.A.P.

Very Nice

Wow, I really liked this. I have the original Gameboy cartridge of this game, and I played it a lot back in the day. This has brought back some fond memories. I don't exactly remember how the original sounded, but this is a really sweet remix. It has excellent clarity, and you chose some nice Synth sounds to use.

So keep on rocking and remixing and all that stuff. 5/5 from me, yay.

EliteFerrex responds:

Sweet! After making this song, I got an idea for a new style of songmaking, though, and I'll be testing it out, soon! =D

Funktastic

Wow, I really liked this. I'm a guy who loves funk, and how you incorporated the slap bass in this song was awesome. It gave it a nice edge. At first I was wondering if it was going to stay soft, but then that wicked beat came in. Well done. I liked the guitar track too. Some nice rhythms in there.

All-in-all, an excellent song. It was slightly cloudy at times, where you couldn't hear all the parts 100%, but other than that well done. Keep up the good work.

DoobyTimePiece responds:

oh howthe soundlevels in this one clip. let metell you it was hard to configure to even get to thisquality. i wouldchange it but i dont want to dbl post. but yah this is refined for that soul pourpus of slap and it worked well. thanks for the review.
